What is the 'Resource Bench' in Resource Planning?

The Assignments Boards provides you a single-day view of all active people and projects. You can use it to manage resource requests and resource assignments for each project.

The resource bench lists all people that are available to be assigned, are already assigned, or are scheduled off for that day.

Using the resource bench, you can:

• See people's availability

• Create resource assignments

• Fill resource requests

Smart Bench

The Smart Bench, available on the Boards (Beta) and Gantt (Beta), suggest resources based on how well their tags, distance, availability, and job title match the request. See Fill a Resource Request Using Smart Bench for details.
