Why aren't my grids aligned in the Models tool?
Background
Grid lines exported from Autodesk® Revit® with the Procore BIM Plugin should align with the model origin in Procore. However, when viewing the model in Procore, they may appear offset or not show at all.
Answer
Grid lines may appear misaligned in Procore if the Coordinate System setting selected during the export process differs from the setting used in the Autodesk® Revit® model.
To ensure alignment, the settings must match:
Internal: If the Revit® model uses Internal coordinates, select Internal when exporting to Procore.
Shared: If the Revit® model uses Shared coordinates, select Shared when exporting.
To check if the coordinates are off:
Navigate to the Models tool on an iPad.
Tap the relevant model to open it.
Navigate to a wall in the model and tap to select it.
Tap the 2D View
icon.Tap an object (such as a pipe) to select it.
Validate that the dimensions are accurate relative to levels and grids.
