Create Equipment Entries
Background
The Equipment section allows you to track the usage hours of equipment and machinery for the project, the time of their inspection, and the associated cost code.
Things to Consider
To sync Equipment Timesheets with Daily Log entries, the following must be true:
The required fields in your Daily Log Equipment fieldset must match those in your Equipment Timesheets fieldset.
The Daily Log must be open and not marked as 'Complete'.
Steps
Note
Add or create equipment records in the Project's Equipment tool.
Previously, an equipment record was added and managed using the Equipment page of the Admin tool.
Navigate to the project's Daily Log tool.
Scroll to the Equipment section.
You can also use the left navigation menu to quickly navigate to the Equipment section.To create an entry, add information to the fields.
Note: Click the caret icon > to expand and v to collapse the field names and their descriptions below.
Click Create.
The log entry is created or added.
