View Order Details

The Commitments tool is used to create purchase orders and commitment change orders for materials.

To view details about the materials in the commitment in the Materials tool, you can navigate to the 'Orders' sub tab in the Materials tool.

• The Commitments tool was used to create a purchase order or change order for materials, and includes the following information:

  • The status is Approved

  • The Schedule of Values (SOV) includes the following for each line item:

    • Description

    • Unit of Measure (UOM)

1. Navigate to the project's Materials tool.

2. Click the Control tab.

3. Click the Orders sub tab.

4. Optional: Search and Filter Orders

5. Click the PO number.

6. Review the order details in the following sections:

   • Order Properties

   • Status

   • Shipments

   • Document Line Items

   • Activity

   • Attachments
     

      Tip

     To edit an order, you should do so in the Commitments tool. See Edit Subcontracts.

7. Optional: Continue your workflow by taking the following actions:

   • Create a Shipment

   • Create a Receipt
