Configure Priority Sync for the Procore Mobile App (iOS)

Company Administrators can enable the Priority Sync for iOS beta in Procore Explore. (US 2 | UK)

Background

On job sites, users often lack reliable internet due to remote locations, blocked reception, or network congestion. Priority Sync solves this by letting you quickly update all necessary data while you still have a strong connection. This ensures they always work from the latest information, preventing costly rework and delays.

To set up Priority Sync, select the tools and data you want to sync. After you have selected what data you want to sync, the Procore app will automatically sync when you navigate to the Tools screen and have an active network connection. Alternatively, you can tap the Sync button to update data at any time.

Steps

  1. Open the Procore App on an iOS mobile device.

  2. Tap the Tools icon-toolbox-mobile.pngscreen.

  3. For 'Priority Sync', tap Set Up or the horizontal ellipsis icon-ellipsis-horizontal.png.

  4. Optional: Tap the toggle icon-toggle-on.png ON to automatically download files and attachments using cellular data.

  5. Tap each tool that you want to enable for priority sync, then tap the toggle icon-toggle-on.png ON.

  6. Depending on the tool you enabled, take the following actions:

    • Optional: If available, tap the toggle icon-toggle-on.pngON to include attachments.

    • If enabling Drawings, select the disciplines you want to sync.

    • If enabling Specifications, select the divisions you want to sync

  7. Tap Save Preferences.
