Steps

You can delete requests from the following places in Resource Planning:

Delete a Resource Request from Assignment Boards

  1. Navigate to the Company level Resource Planning tool.

  2. Click Assignments and select Boards.

  3. Locate the resource request you want to delete.

  4. Hover over the request and click the gear icon-gear-wfp.png icon

  5. Click Delete.

  6. Click Are You Sure?

Delete a Resource Request from Assignment Gantt

  1. Navigate to the Company level Resource Planning tool.

  2. Click Assignments and select Gantt.

  3. Locate the resource request you want to delete and click the colored bar.

  4. Click Edit Request.

  5. Click Delete.

  6. Click Are You Sure?

Delete a Resource Request from Assignments Gantt (Beta)

 In Beta

This feature is in beta and available for customers using the Resource Planning tool.

  1. Navigate to the Company level Resource Planning tool.

  2. Click Assignments and select Gantt (Beta).

  3. Right click on the request or the request bar and select Delete Request.
    Note: You can also hover over the request in the list and click the vertical ellipsis icon-ellipsis-vertical.png, then select Delete Request.

  4. Click Delete to confirm.

 Important

Deleting a task on the Gantt can be undone by clicking the undo icon-gantt-undo.png icon, so long as you remain on the Gantt and stay within the same session. However, if you navigate away from the Gantt or your session expires, the task is permanently deleted.

Delete a Resource Request from the Request List

  1. Navigate to the Company level Resource Planning tool.

  2. Click Requests and select Requests List.

  3. Locate the resource request you want to delete and click the gear icon-gear-wfp.png icon.

  4. Click Delete.

  5. Click Are You Sure?
