Procore Model Manager - Beta Access & Feedback

The Model Manager (Beta) tool is exclusively available to registered beta participants. It is not available through Procore Explore. To learn more, see Beta Participant Guide.

  • To access the beta and provide feedback Show/Hide Details

    • To register: Participating companies must sign the Procore Beta Agreement. Once signed, your Procore Administrator coordinates with your Procore point of contact to enable Model Manager (Beta) on specific Procore projects.

    • To Provide Feedback During Beta: Contact your dedicated Beta program lead.

    • To report issues: Report breaking changes to Procore Customer Support. For general feedback or non-critical issues, contact your Beta program lead or Procore point of contact.

    For information about Beta Services, see the Procore Subscription Services Agreement. This documentation supports a product currently in Beta; content is actively being developed for General Availability (GA) and may be incomplete.

The Next-Gen Viewer allows you to isolate and manage specific elements within your 3D models. Hiding objects helps you declutter your view, making it easier to focus on specific components, verify model details, and improve visual clarity during your project coordination tasks.

Use the Mobile Context Menu

  1. Tap the Procore icon on your device to launch the Procore Mobile app.

  2. Find and tap the project to open.

  3. Tap Model Manager (Beta) in the Tools menu.

  4. On the landing page, tap Home View or Project View to open the model.

  5. In the model, tap and hold (long press) the 3D object to hide.

  6. In the context menu, tap Hide.

  7. Select your desired option:

    • Hide Object: Hides only the selected 3D element.

    • Hide Similar: Hides all objects in the model that share the same key attribute (such as category, IFC class, or layer).

Use the Object Tree Panel

  1. Tap the Procore icon on your device to launch the Procore Mobile app.

  2. Find and tap the project to open.

  3. Tap Model Manager (Beta) in the Tools menu.

  4. At the bottom of the viewer, tap General and then tap Object Tree.

  5. Locate the file, category, or specific element in the model hierarchy

  6. Hide the objects using one of two options:

    • Toggle the Eye Icon: Tap the eye icon next to any individual object, folder, or trade file to hide it immediately.

    • Actions Dropdown: Mark the checkbox next to one or more items, tap Actions, and select Hide Selected.

Unhide Objects

To restore hidden objects back to full visibility, tap Reset on the viewer toolbar to return the workspace to its default state.
