Procore’s scheduling interface is designed for high-speed navigation. You can toggle between different layouts to see the data in the format that best suits your needs, such as a traditional Gantt chart for logic or a Table view for bulk data entry.

  • Understanding the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) The Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) allows you to nest tasks into groups. Procore automatically creates "roll-up" summary bars on the Gantt chart to summarize the duration and progress of all nested tasks.

  • Note on Custom Views: Your display preferences are specific to your user account. Changes to column visibility, order, sorting, expanded/collapsed states, Gantt zoom or pan positions, and active filters only affect your personal view and will not alter what other users see.

1. Navigate to the project's Scheduling tool.

2. Customize your layout and views.

   • Adjust Layout Space: Click and drag the splitter control between the table and the Gantt chart to allocate more space to either side depending on whether you're focusing on data entry or visual timeline tracking.

   • Customize Display Preferences: Open the Views side panel to adjust your layout settings, column visibility, and view preferences.

3. Expand/Collapse WBS: Click the arrow next to a parent task in the table to show or hide its subtasks.

4. Zoom and Scroll: Use the Zoom buttons to change the timeline from days to weeks or months. Use the scroll bar at the bottom to move forward or backward in the project timeline.
